The Day

Order of Events

3:30 PM

Religious ceremony

Our Lady of Lebanon, 1515 Queen St W.

We know Toronto can have a lot of traffic, especially in the winter, so please plan to arrive on time.

This is a phone-free ceremony — our photographer will be there to take pictures, so you can fully be present in the moment.

4:15 PM

Goûter & drinks

Light snacks, sweet and savoury, plus drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and more) in the church's basement — a chance for us to mingle and take pictures with everyone.

Stay as long as you'd like, but please plan to leave by 5:30 PM at the latest to make it to the reception on time.

6:00 PM

Cocktail hour

Hart House (7 Hart House Circle, Toronto), in the Debates Room, on the second floor.

7:30 PM

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the dress code?

Formal attire. We suggest a suit in any colour, and a cocktail or formal dress. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up for the occasion!

Will there be a coat check?

Yes! There will be a coat check available at Hart House, so you can leave your winter coats safely while you enjoy the evening.

Is there public transportation nearby?

Yes! Hart House is located at the University of Toronto's St. George campus and is easily accessible by TTC. It's also conveniently accessible by Uber or taxi.

Will there be transportation between the church and reception?

There will not be transportation provided between the church and Hart House. Guests will be responsible for making their own way to the reception. We recommend planning your transportation in advance, especially given the January weather!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The bar will offer beer, wine, mixers, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that Hart House does not offer shots.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by November 1, 2026. We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by this date so that we can finalize all the details for our big day.

Will we be outside?

The majority of the celebration will take place indoors, but you may be outside briefly while travelling between locations. Since it will be January in Toronto, please come prepared for winter weather and dress warmly!

Do you have a registry?

We do not have a traditional registry. However, if you would like to give us a gift, we would be very grateful for a contribution toward our future together. A secured gift box will be available at the wedding, or you may send us an e-transfer at paul.ghandour1@hotmail.com.

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift, and we are simply grateful to celebrate with you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We'd love for everyone to be fully present and enjoy this special moment with us, so we're having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We promise there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos throughout the rest of the day!

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

We've got you covered! After the ceremony, we'll have a little goûter with coffee and light snacks at the church while we take photos.

If you'd prefer to explore Toronto or enjoy some time on your own between the ceremony and reception, you are more than welcome to do so! We'll see you again at Hart House at 6:00 PM for drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
